Orli Matlow is a comedian and writer. She was a Creative Consultant on SundanceTV’s Indefensible with Jena Friedman, streaming now on AMC+. She created and hosted the cabaret Send in the Clowns: Comedians Sing Sondheim at Caveat, which was a comedy pick in The New York Times.
Orli is also a writer on the ADDY Award-winning Cold War docuseries From Yalta To Malta. Orli has written for Adult Swim, McSweeney’s, and Reductress, and can be seen on Amazon Prime Sports Talk’s comedy and sports show, Game Breakers. One of her pilots, Something Blue, was a semi-finalist in the Spring 2024 Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
She has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Women in Comedy Festival, the Alaska B4UDIE Comedy Festival, and for many a synagogue on Zoom.
Orli also teaches stand-up comedy workshops. She has taught high schoolers in Columbia University’s pre-college program and older adults at the Weinberg Center for Balanced Living.
